Vapour Plasterboard 12.5mm x 2400mm x 1200mm

Vapour-control plasterboard, 12.5mm thick, supplied in 2400mm × 1200mm (8'×4') sheets with a tapered edge. Mechanically identical to standard wallboard but with an additional silver metallised polyester film bonded to the back face, which acts as a vapour-control layer — classified as Type A to BS EN 520. Used on the warm side of insulated partitions and ceilings to limit the migration of moisture-laden internal air into the build-up, reducing the risk of interstitial condensation. Particularly common in loft conversions, room-in-roof builds and dormer ceilings. Sold per sheet.
