Heavier-gauge wallboard plasterboard for partitions, wall linings and ceilings — supplied in 2400mm × 1200mm (8'×4') sheets with a tapered edge for jointing and skimming. Classified as Type A to BS EN 520. The thicker 15mm board offers improved sound and impact resistance compared to standard 12.5mm wallboard, and is often specified for taller stud heights, separating walls and rooms where additional rigidity is required. Sold per sheet.
