Sika Blue Grit Plaster Bonding Agent 10L

Sika® Blue Grit is a high-performance, ready-to-use plaster bonding agent that gives plaster a strong mechanical key on smooth and low-suction surfaces. It contains a fine aggregate that roughens the surface once dry, so plaster grips onto backgrounds that would otherwise be too smooth to take it.

Suitable for: plaster, concrete, painted surfaces and glazed tiles, plus difficult substrates such as glass, ceramics, MR plasterboard, MDF, pre-cast concrete and particle boards.

• Coverage approx. 4.5m² per litre (up to approx. 45m² per 10L tub), depending on substrate porosity

Application: Stir well before use. Ensure air and surface temperature are above 5°C. Apply one even coat and allow to dry thoroughly before plastering – usually a minimum of 6 hours at 20°C, longer in colder conditions. Very porous surfaces should be sealed first. Clean tools and splashes with warm soapy water before the product dries.

Storage: Store between 5°C and 25°C and protect from frost. Shelf life 24 months in a sealed container.
