Coarse washed sharp sand (grit sand) in a 25kg handy bag. The angular grain and low silt content give a strong mechanical bond when mixed with cement, making it the right sand for concrete mixes, floor screeds, laying paving and general structural work. Typically mixed at 1:4 with cement for screeds, or 1:2:3 (cement:sand:aggregate) for general-purpose concrete. Sold per 25kg bag.
