Resilient Bar 3000mm

Resilient Bar, 3000mm length — a galvanised mild steel section fixed across the underside of timber joists (or face of studs) to decouple the plasterboard layer from the structure, significantly improving impact and airborne sound resistance through floors and partitions. Typically fixed at 400mm centres before plasterboarding, the exact spacing dictated by the plasterboard specification and acoustic target. A standard component in Part E-compliant separating floor and party-wall build-ups. Sold per length.
