A galvanised steel render stop bead, used to form a straight, clean stopped edge where render or wet plaster butts up to another material such as a door or window frame. The expanded mesh wings key into the render to resist cracking, and it's fixed with render/mortar dabs, grab adhesive or galvanised nails at roughly 600mm centres. Sold individually.
Specification: 3000mm length, 10mm stop depth, 53mm mesh wings, in 0.4mm galvanised steel (Class A1, non-combustible). For very exposed or high-rainfall elevations a stainless steel or PVC-u bead is recommended. (BPC ref G10PSB30.)
