A medium duty "jiffy" (speedy) joist hanger for connecting a 47mm wide timber joist to a timber beam or wall plate. Pressed from heavier-gauge galvanised steel for greater load capacity, with a long leg that suits deeper joists — ideal for loft conversions, deeper floor joists and underslung work. It fixes quickly and securely with no notching required — just nail through the pre-punched holes with square twist nails. Sold individually.
Dimensions: 47mm internal width × 479mm leg height × 50mm bearing depth, in 1.2mm galvanised steel. Long leg for deeper joists and I-beam/loft applications. (BPC ref B460/47.)
