A light duty "jiffy" (speedy) joist hanger for connecting a 47mm wide timber joist to a timber beam or wall plate. Pressed from galvanised steel with a short leg to suit standard-depth floor and ceiling joists, it gives a quick, secure fixing with no notching required — simply nail through the pre-punched holes with square twist nails. Ideal for lighter domestic loads. Sold individually.
Dimensions: 47mm internal width × 190mm leg height × 50mm bearing depth, in 0.9mm galvanised steel. Suitable for joist depths up to 175mm. (BPC ref A190/47.)
