A build-in masonry joist hanger for supporting a 47mm wide × 150mm deep timber joist off brickwork or blockwork. The wide top flange beds into the mortar course to spread the load, and the joist is fixed by nailing through the pre-punched side gussets with square twist nails. Heavy duty galvanised steel for a strong, permanent connection. Sold individually.
Dimensions: suits 47mm wide × 150mm deep joists, 75mm bearing surface, in 2.0mm galvanised steel. Hangers 150mm and deeper are made 10mm shallower than nominal to suit regularised timber and keep joist levels true. (BPC ref SMH/S/47x150.)
